DR. JENNIFER SWAIM
Dr. Jennifer Swaim is a licensed psychologist providing psychotherapy services in the Department of Behavioral Sciences at the Ross University School of Medicine in the Commonwealth of Dominica, West Indies.
Jennifer's long standing interests in mind-body interactions led to specialization in medical psychology and she completed her internship at the Louis Stokes Cleveland DVA hospital with a specialization in health psychology followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology. She is the previous Director of Psycho-Oncology Research at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, OH she coordinated large scale research efforts designed at furthering knowledge regarding individuals’ responses to chemotherapy and cancer diagnosis and treatment.
In 2012 Dr. Swaim earned Full Member status in the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, and in 2013 achieved board certification in Applied Biofeedback, and is presently completing a degree in Masters of Business Administration with a focus on Health Care.
Jennifer is an avid SCUBA diver, sailor, and traveler with a deep commitment to environmental, women's, and equality issues worldwide.
